These dogs eat and run… a lot. They deserve our best care and attention.

Any money raised helps feed the dogs high-performance food and snacks, provide supplements, vaccinations, help with kennel operations, and other supplies necessary to get through the season such as harnesses and dog booties.

This Season’s Race Plan:

 

 

 

Knik 200 Joe Redington Sr. Memorial Sled Dog Race 

January 6-7, 2024
The season opens with the Knik 200. The race board is considering adding an additional leg resulting in a 300 mile race. With the loss of the Willow 300 this year, the Knik 200 is an important race. This race is very weather dependent and has been cancelled due to poor snow conditions in the past. Competitive teams need to run 300 mile races/distances in January to prepare for the 1000 mile race in March. The Knik 200 purse is modest with 1st-5th places paying $3500, $2500, $2000, $1500, and $1000.

Kuskokwim 300

JanUARY 26, 2024
The Kusko 300 is a premier 300-miler in Bethel, Alaska. The race boasts a generous purse with a $25,000 first place prize. A top-ten finish is a great early season payday. The race is an out-and-back format from Bethel to Aniak. This year’s race is super competitive, featuring many Kusko, Iditarod, and Yukon Quest champions. Can’t wait for this one!
